We just researched the fall calendar for major crypto events and couldn’t find any on the horizon. Seeing as how it’s already late August and September is 5 days away, that means it’s too soon for any more to be scheduled and so crypto events for the Dallas-Fort Worth area are done for the rest of 2022.

Events that took place this year include:

- Algorithm 2022
- Enterprise Digital Asset Summit 2022
Looking ahead to 2023, if you’re willing to drive to Austin, the Consensus 2023 conference will be in Austin April 26-29. Consensus is presented by Coin Desk and is a big deal, having originated in 2015 and still going strong. Consensus spans the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
Meetups
Of course, there are still meetups happening regularly in the DFW area.
Crypto Dallas, hosted by Leon G. and Matthew La R. is scheduled on a recurring basis at Central Market on Lovers Lane. This popular meetup features discussions around bitcoin, blockchain, and other cryptocurrencies and regularly has over 20 attendees.
Another recurring gathering is the BlockChain Meetup hosted by the Texas Blockchain Council. This is more for networking and connecting Bitcoin and crypto fans from around North Texas. BlockChain Meetup does have a $25 admission fee. The next event is at Frisco and previous locations have included Richardson.
